Domain mapping:

Make sure domain is unattached!

In Bluehost, use domain as add-on and point the domain to subdirectory of main site (this cannot be done for primary domain of account at BH)

After you map domain, you may need to update site address. Go to site, edit site (hover from visit site). Pagelines toolbar had disappeared from front of site when the was not completed

Pointing elementwinery.com required this: removed the CNAMES and set everything to A records

Apply SSL to New Domain

12/6/17 BakerCornell.org and CornellCats.org GoDaddy

• unattach domain from original site (made the temp the primary and then had to remove the domain from managed wordpress install)
• Add domain as Add-On through cPanel (in the new hosting account)
• Purchase SSL and do NOT set up
• CPanel > SSL/TLS and generate the CSR. Once generated, copy CSR 
• Then go back to GoDaddy > My Products and Set Up SSL. Paste CSR code into this area.
• Click to download zipped file (will also be emailed to address on file).
• CPanel > SSL/TLS > Certificates (CRT) and upload the certificate.
• When new certificate has been processed, must delete Self-Assigned certificates from CPanel > SSL/TLS
• CPanel > SSL/TLS > Install and Manage Delete the one from secondary domain SSL (the one being domain mapped). Then scroll down and choose domain from dropdown list and reinstall SSL. (use autofill button)

Domain Map in MultiSite

• Go to network dashboard > Sites > Choose site to map with domain
• Update the site address (URL) and Save!

Domain Mapping (ex. flxhospitality.com)

• Make the domain and add-on domain (at Bluehost)
• Apply SSL to domain (is pointint to existing site with https address)
• Domain map in WordPress when SSL is ready
• May need Really Simple SSL after
